My favorite dessert in all of the land! It is simply amazing and a stunning dessert, fit for a princess.
This dessert is only available at select locations, I’ve personally had it at Chef Mickey’s and Cinderella’s Royal Table (after my fiancé proposed). There are a few differences between the different locations.
Most recently, I had this amazing dessert at Cinderella’s Royal Table after Brad proposed! A chocolate slipper with chocolate mousse alongside fruit was served along with my glass slipper floating on rose petals. My fiancé also got the a white chocolate crown with chocolate mousse, fit for a prince. Siping our glasses of champagne, watching the fireworks and indulging in our desserts, it was a perfect way to end the night.
The first time I had the dessert was at Chef Mickey’s. I ordered it ahead of time for $15, the dessert included a white chocolate slipper with raspberries and mousse with a small piece of chocolate with mousse and white chocolate shavings. They will write a message of your choice on it, such as “Happy Birthday”, “I Love You”, “Happy Anniversary”, “Happily Ever After”, etc. We ordered this dessert “just because..” ha! We were celebrating being at Disney, so why not get a special dessert! My fiance decided to add the message “I love you”… because he was saving the “Happily Ever After” message for our second trip that year!
You would assume a dessert like this at Disney World would be expensive right? It actually wasn’t that bad! Although you can not use your meal plan for this, it only costs $15!!!! Note, this could have changed since I last ordered it! In order to indulge in this amazing dessert, you should try to call Disney’s Dream Makers or Disney’s Cake hotline as far in advance. The cake hotline requires that you call at least 48 hours before your dining reservation. After you finish your meal, the waiter will bring the dessert out to you. If you want it to be a surprise, just let them know ahead of time and they will be sure to not ruin the secret!
Next time you visit Disney, be sure to indulge in a “Cinderella’s Slipper” Dessert! Enjoy!
